Movie Review - Satamaanambhavati

Producer Dil Raju and Director Satish Vegesna deserve all appreciation for bringing out such a wonderful movie. The screenplay is extraordinary.
The story and the plot set in the green and beautiful village backdrop are a visual treat to the audience. Cinematographer Sameer Reddy has done a fabulous job in showcasing the beauty of villages in Godavari districts.
The story is about one Raghavaraju (played by Prakash Raj) and his family. His three children, two sons and a daughter, settle down in three different countries and become so embroiled in their lives that they do not find time to visit their aged parents or home in Atreyapuram in spite of repeated pleas by them. Their mother Janakamma (played by Jayasudha) threatens to abandon her husband and go to her children if he did not make them to come home this time during Sankranthi. So Raghavaraju makes a plot and sends an e-mail to all his three children to come home and they all land up. The plot that he made and what he wrote in the mail should be known only by watching the movie. Both Prakash Raj and Jayasudha have performed extremely well in their roles. A big mention has to be made about the hero of the film Sharwanand who played the role of Raju, the grandson of Raghavaraju. He has proved again that he is a highly talented actor by showing all required emotions of the character. He was ably supported by Anupama Parameshwaran who played the role of Nithya. Both of them looked and carried themselves refreshingly.
Naresh as Kangaar Raju is too good and did a splendid job in making the audience laugh in every frame that he was there. The selection of artistes for all the characters and their performance did the film a world of good. The comedy track supported by other actors like Racchha Ravi of Jabardast fame, Prabhas Srinu et al is highly enjoyable and clean. Music by Micky J Meyer is enjoyable. Dialogues are written well. The lyrics are good too. All departments contributed to the success of the presentation of story.
While giving complete entertainment, the film also highlights the missing connect between family members with the onslaught of TV and mobile technology and also a mad drive for material success. The value of marriage as a great institution has been presented in an impactful manner. The last part of the movie invokes positive emotional feelings.
The film is so good that every one can relate themselves to some or full part of it whether they are living in a remote village in India or a big city abroad.
Though the film is released at the same time as that of two other big heroes, it is bound to do well. I would give a ****1/2 for this film.
