Movie Review - Brahmotsavam (Telugu)

This 156 minutes movie is sure to test audience patience levels as they are left yawning through out the duration of the movie. The movie directed by Sreekanth Addala opens with a plot that is confusing to say the least. A small girl sighing to Mahesh to marry her is in too bad a taste. Though the goal of the movie is appreciable, the screenplay is too lousy and irritating. It felt more like a photo session for the starry looking Mahesh Babu than a motion picture. The conversations between Mahesh and Kajal are meaningless and make the audience swirl in their seats and make them restless. There are so many big time actors in the movie but one gets to feel that several crows have gathered at one place making horrible and unbearable noise. Director Srikanth may be sentimental about Rohini Hattangadi who also acted in SVSC which did reasonably well at the box office and so she finds a character in this film too.
