Movie Review - Soggaade Chinni Naayana (Telugu)
Nagarjuna
has made it again. Produced by Annapurna Studios, his production house, this
movie will send the audience home in a happy and cheerful mood. The plot for
this 145 minutes movie opens in Sivapuram, a remote and beautiful village
called Sivapuram. Directed by Kalyan Krishna, we would get to see the beauty of
countryside in Godavari districts.
Nagarjuna
has done a fabulous job in the dual roles he played as Bangarraju and Dr.Rammohan.
His performance as Bangarraju is so lively that the audience would fall in love
with the character and the actor. Supported by the highly talented Ramya
Krishnan who played as his wife Satyabhama, both of them rocked the screen with
laudable action. His other role as doctor Rammohan too is impressive. Lavanya
Tripathi as Sita, wife of Rammohan, did her role very easily and naturally. Nagarjuna
switched between the roles with ease and élan. Nagarjuna, true to his
Manmathudu style has many female characters in the film namely, Anushka,
Hamasanandini, Anasuya et al who did their bit to entertain the audience giving
the feel of a family entertainer to the movie.
The
story is about how Bangaraju’s soul comes down to earth and protects his family
and prevents his son and daughter-in-law from breaking their marriage. Naga Babu
as Lord Yama looks good except in two frames where his back looked bent. There
was enough comedy created around Brahmanandam’s character Atmanandam. Every
character in the movie has added value to the overall feel of the movie. Music
by Anup Rubens is good. The second song of the film Dikka Dikka Dum Dum is
choreographed very interestingly.
The
film has all emotions in equal proportion. The dialogues were written well and
delivered equally well making the audience laugh throughout the film. Posani, SampathRaj,
Nasser, Chalapathi Rao, Vennela Kishore, Jhansi and others have also acted well
and had a role to play.
The
film can be dubbed as a hit with all the fun elements and screenplay.I
would give a **** for the movie.
