Movie Review - Pandaga Chesko(Telugu)

If there is any movie that has been recently made with no scope for the audience to predict the story, it is this. 
Except for having a few shades of the other successful movies like Nagarjuna's Manmathudu, Jr.NTR's Brindavanam and Pavan Kalyan's Attharinitiki Daredi, the film's screenplay and direction has been remarkable. You would not feel bored even for a minute watching this movie which has lot of humor built into every frame.
The opening scenes create a kind of base for the rest of the film. Those wanting to have a glimpse of Portugal get it in full dose with songs having been shot in lovely locations. Dance by Ram, the music and choreography are in complete sync. Dialogues have been well written except for those involving M S Narayana and the hero which were found to be a bit vulgar with too many double meanings. Every actor did his bit well. The comedy track involving Brahamanandam and every other actor is the biggest attraction of the film. It is a successful venture for the producers and Director Malineni Gopichand has scored above average.

A golden Silver Jubilee Meet of BITS85BATCH

A logo par excellence They were all born in different parts of India, studied hard (some might say they hardly studied but made it to BITS) at different schools and their +2 scores got them to study and play together in the year 1985 at BITS, Pilani – the abode of higher education. While some of them got into 4-year integrated courses, some others got into 5-year dual degree courses.  The year 2014 marks the Silver Jubilee Year and the batch mates decided to have their SJM (Silver Jubilee Meet). That several Pre-SJM meets happened at different parts of the world as a precursor to the actual SJM stands testimony to the enthusiasm of the batch. The size of the batch is 564 and is spread across various continents. It is a humongous task to even communicate a message to all of them, leave alone the task of getting them together. Movie Review - PK

(Reproduced here  from my FB account where I first wrote this on 24th December 2014) I know this review is coming after almost a week of the release. Aamir Khan's performance is simply superb and he lived in the alien role throughout the 153 minutes film. He deserves an Oscar for the same. Coming to the story, it has shades of four other movie stories - Firstly, Telugu movie Jagadeka Veerudu Athiloka Sundari (in which Sridevi and Chiranjeevi played the lead roles. There she loses her ring and cannot get back to Indralok unless she gets it back), secondly OMG , thirdly Aliens and fourthly Avatar (transmission through mind reading - that is how PK learns Bhojpuri in 6 hours from a prostitute). The film wonderfully captured the age-old thirst of man to find God and how in the process, the middle men in the form of godmen, take them for a ride.
