Actions speak louder than words

I woke up to the unpalatable news on the front page of ‪‎Mumbai‬ edition of the 'leading' national daily that a ‪‎MLA‬ belonging to AIMIM‬ has been suspended from Assembly for the remainder of the current session after he refused to chant 'BharatMataKiJai‬'. The MLA is reportedly considered as an 'anti-national'. The members who generally fight over every minor issue in the House were united in their voice to recommend suspension of this MLA. There is also a 'big' debate in the country on what should be done to those who do not want to chant BMKJ‬
While I am not attempting to question the 'collective wisdom' of the members nor supporting those who do not want to say Bharat Mata Ki Jai, it is time to question some of the elected representatives of various Houses in this country if they knew the National Anthem. If not hailing 'Bharat Mata Ki Jai' is 'anti-national', then what does not knowing the ‪‎NationalAnthem‬ of this country amount to? Do they deserve to sit in their respective Houses if they did not know the National Anthem? How many them would pass the test if they were asked to sing National Anthem? Would all those who fail agree to resign from their positions and call themselves 'anti-national'? They would probably not want to take the test. Are all those leaders who hail BMKJ in public but do LBM( Loot Bharat Mata) in private, nationalists?
It doesn't really matter if a leader hailed BMKJ or not but what definitely matters is how he/she treats Bharat Mata and her people. It would be a great service to Bharat Mata if all elected representatives do not divide her 'children' on the narrow lines of caste, creed and religion which they have been doing incessantly for political gains. As if there are no other important priorities, the whole nation is being taken for a ride by the so called 'nationalists' and 'patriots'.
All those great men insisting on hailing BMKJ should not forget the adage "Actions speak louder than words". So instead of wasting the public's time by raising such issues, they should focus on actions that would make Bharat Mata a developed nation and keep her children united and at peace with each other under all circumstances.
Bharat Mata Ki Jai !!!!
Jai Hind !!!!
