Movie Review - Dictator (Telugu)
Dubbed as the 99 th film for Balakrishna, it appears that he is somehow bent upon completing 100 films. Directed by Sriwaas,this is another high decibel, punch-dialogue driven film of Balakrishna. The story felt like a never ending saga with the hero delivering all dialogues in the same tone and diction irrespective of the scenes. That is one of the biggest drawbacks in the film. The story of the film feels like a mixed vegetable curry with the ‘vegetables’ being the movies Rajinikanth’s Basha, Surya’s Ghajini and Mahesh’s Dookudu. The story is about how India’s biggest business man fights against the organized crime in which businessmen are threatened by mafia that demanded protection money. Except for a few comedy scenes created around the characters played Hema( as Hema Patnaik) and Prithvi( as Mahesh Patro), the first half has nothing much to boast about.
